7 tips to stay warm on camping nights

Winter is approaching and for that reason, we should not leave the plans to go camping aside, on the contrary, going camping in winter can be much more pleasant than going in summer, of course, always with the right clothes and the necessary equipment.

What I like most about camping on cool days or in winter are the mornings, when you can enjoy a delicious coffee, hot chocolate, or tea and have a delicious breakfast without dying of heat with the sun that quickly warms the area, in addition, you can get up afternoon without cooking inside the tent, as most tents absorb the heat of the sun very quickly.

Also, the cool and cold air allows you to set up a tent more calmly, because when it's hot, then you start to sweat a lot.

Here I propose some tips that will work for you to sleep warm when you go on an excursion in these autumn days and those that follow winter, they are really worth considering ...

1.- Make 10 pigeons jumping before getting into the tent.

Although you may think that you will look ridiculous doing this, you will realize that you will be the only one who will not freeze to death, it is a very good recommendation if you are very cold to warm up your bones and muscles a bit before getting into the sleeping bag and your body does not struggle to circulate the blood.

2.- Sleep with layers of thermal clothing on

Thermal clothing will keep you warm at night so you don't waste energy shivering.

3.- Sleep with a hat on and thick socks

This way you can keep your ears warm as well and, obviously, your head. The same for the feet.

4.- You do not sit on cold surfaces.

This cools down your butt and legs and then it will be a real struggle to warm up again.

5.- Use a pad to sleep.

It is VERY important not to put the sleeping bag directly on the floor of the tent, since the cold from the surface will easily enter, so I recommend using a sleeping pad, which will prevent the cold from passing into your sleeping bag.

6.- Camp with whoever you love the most.

Nothing produces more heat than human warmth, it is much better to sleep with a friend or your partner to keep each other warm.

7.- Eat foods high in fat.

A little fat in the body, without a doubt it will keep you with an extra layer of heat, here forget a bit about the diet. These foods can be healthy, like peanut butter, for example, or chocolates.
